The issues of EMFs and the impacts on health and wellbeing became personal for me a few years ago. I was experiencing extreme fatigue even after a good amount of time "sleeping". I would go to bed around 10pm and rise around 630am feeling unrested, heavy and cloudy headed. I was also experiencing a sensation that things were spinning around me. When asked to describe it, I would raise my arm in front of me and with an open palm make circles at arms length just above me eye level. These symptoms were making me very uneasy. I was anxious a lot of the time and short tempered. Things often startled me. Car rides and airplane trips were also extremely difficult for me. I would experience significant symptoms of dizziness, disorientation and the feeling that things were spinning around me after these trips. A professional colleague suggested to me that I should investigate if a sensitivity to EMFs was contributing to my symptoms. I immediately went home and unplugged all cordless phones in the house and placed an EMF blocker under my pillow. These two things immediately improved my sleep. I live in an area where houses are close together. Every house in my neighborhood has its own WiFi connection and every cell phone company and cable TV company have a "neighborhood" WiFi connection available. We also have smart meters on the house for water, electric and natural gas usage monitoring. My personal strategies are to wear EMF blocking devices and sleep on EMF blocking materials. I try my best to reduce exposure but where I live it's nearly impossible. I do, however, notice that when I am away from home in areas that are less densely populated, with more open space and where smart meters are not used, I do not experience these symptoms. Wearing the EMF protection has also made traveling much easier.
